Samsung Galaxy A8 leaks are coming in generously, and the latest one is in the form of a series of photos that show the fully assembled smartphone from all angles. The images reiterate that the Galaxy A8 will be one of the thinnest smartphone by the company sporting a virtually bezel-less display. The photos were uploaded on Chinese website PC Online, and were first spotted by PhoneArena. The images show off a sleek device,testifying the rumored 5.9mm thinness, and even indicates at an almost bezel-less display. The images reveal the microUSB port and 3.5mm audio jack located at the bottom, and the home button is also highlighted reiterating that a fingerprint scanner will be embedded into the Galaxy A8. Previous leaks indicate that the Galaxy A8 will flaunt a 5.7-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display. The smartphone is also said to feature 2GB of RAM, 32GB internal memory, microSD card slot, 3,500mAh battery and connectivity options like 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0. On the photography front, the smartphone is said to feature a 16-megapixel snapper at the back with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture, and real-time HDR. Up front, there will be a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
There are likely to be two variants — single SIM variant powered by an Exynos 5430 octa-core processor, and a dual-SIM variant powered by a Snapdragon 615 chipset.
There is no word from Samsung as to when the Galaxy A8 is set for an unveil, but looking at the amount of intel flowing in regularly, and now fully assembled photos being leaked, an announcement from the company shouldn’t be far off.
