Apple’s new India sales head
In a sudden development, Apple India sales head Sanjay Kaul put in his papers, and the company named Michel Coulomb as new head of sales for the country.
Ola acquired Foodpanda India
Ola today announced the acquisition of Foodpanda. Neither of the companies announced what the deal is worth, but reports claim that it is likely to be a ‘stock-based acquisition at under $50 million’. Ola also committed to investing a further $200 million in the company.
InFocus Vision 3 launch
InFocus launched the Vision 3, which has become the cheapest smartphone with an 18:9 display. Priced at Rs 6,999, the smartphone will go on its first sale tomorrow at 12:00PM exclusively on Amazon India.
Reliance Jio extends cashback offer
Reliance Jio has extended its cashback offer on recharge of Rs 399 or above till December 25. Jio had announced its triple cashback offer in November, and last month announced plans to extend it until December 15.
Samsung Galaxy A8, Galaxy A8+ launch
