After Apple launched the iPhone X, a lot of Android OEMs such as Lenovo, Huawei, Nokia, and LG, to name a few, embraced the notched-display. However, Samsung continued with its Infinity Display on mid-range and flagship smartphones. But, in the battle towards offering a better screen-to-body ratio, the inevitable had to happen. As a result, the Samsung Galaxy A8s gets the Infinity-O display with an in-screen selfie snapper.
Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy A8s in China, and it is set to go on pre-order starting December 21. There is no word on the pricing or availability outside China, but considering Samsung’s focus on the Indian smartphone market, we can expect the smartphone to make it to the Indian shores. Price wise, it is likely to be placed in the upper mid-range bracket.
