Samsung Galaxy A9, Galaxy A9 Pro to launch with dual-camera setup: Report

Samsung Galaxy A and Galaxy C smartphones to release after the launch of Galaxy Note 8.

Samsung is widely rumored to jump onto the dual-camera bandwagon with its upcoming smartphones. Now, a tipster who hails from China has confirmed that the upcoming smartphones in the Galaxy A and Galaxy C series will sport dual rear camera setup. However, the smartphones will reportedly be available after the release of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 flagship phablet.

It is worth mentioning that Galaxy Note 8 has been subjected to a bunch of rumors ,and reports hinting at a dual rear camera setup as well. Thus, the Galaxy A and Galaxy C smartphones launching later this year will not be the South Korean giant’s first smartphones to have a dual lens system onboard. With nothing confirmed by the company yet, it is recommended that readers take this information with a pinch of salt.

From what we know so far, Samsung has Galaxy A9 (2017), Galaxy A9 Pro (2017) and Galaxy C10 (2017) are in the pipeline. According to SamMobile the three smartphones are to ship with company’s Bixby assistant on board as well. Notably, Samsung Galaxy C10(2017) leaked earlier in press renders, and earlier reports suggest that the smartphone is likely to come with 6GB of RAM, while it will be powered by Snapdragon 660 SoC. For the optics, the Galaxy C10 (2017) is said to have a pair of 16-megapixel lenses and support 4K video recording. In other news, Samsung has brought back the Galaxy Note 7 from dead, and it is now called as the Galaxy Note 7 FE. The flagship phablet launched last year now comes with improved specs and better battery. The smartphone is currently available in South Korea with limited stocks of only 40o,000 units. The smartphone shares similar specification as the Galaxy Note 7 FE but a scaled-down battery of 3,200mAh capacity.
