Samsung is all set to launch its quad-rear camera Galaxy A9 in India today. The smartphone was first launched in Malaysia last month. Samsung India will be live streaming the launch event in New Delhi at 12:30PM on its website, and Samsung Bharat Newsroom (news.samsung.com/bharat/).
During the launch in Malaysia, the Samsung Galaxy A9 was announced for EUR 599 (approximately Rs 51,300) for the European market, but last week India price of Galaxy A9 was spotted in Samsung’s website source code. It revealed that Samsung is planning to launch the A9 in India at Rs 39,000, although official price will only be revealed at the Samsung event this afternoon. The new Samsung smartphone is likely to be available across all platforms. As of now, both Amazon India and Flipkart have put up a teaser image for the smartphone.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) boasts a quad-camera setup at the back, which is first of its kind for a smartphone. This setup includes a 24-megapixel camera with f/1.7 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, 10-megapixel telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor of f/2.2 aperture.
