Looks like Samsung is all set for a new Windows 10 tablet. Recently, Samsung released a “Book Settings” app in the Windows Store, which includes references to an unannounced Samsung ‘Galaxy Book’ device. While we expect the Galaxy Tab S3 to be unveiled at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 this weekend, appearance of the Book Settings app at this point of time could be a precursor to a new product line.
Talking about the Book Settings app that has surfaced, the app is essentially designed to provide additional settings for a stylus, the AMOLED display, the ability to add a pattern unlock (like Android), and a battery life extender.

It is being speculated that the Galaxy Book will be head-on with Microsoft’s Surface Book, with a more traditional notebook-like form factor instead of a Surface-like TabPro convertible. It is worth pointing out that Samsung already competes with Microsoft’s Surface line with products like the Galaxy TabPro S. While that’s all that could be told about the hinted Galaxy Book, more could only be known if the device makes it to the MWC showcase.
That said, what we do know is that Samsung is holding its event on February 26, and the Galaxy Tab S3 is on cards. The recent leaks have nearly confirmed that the tablet will come with an S Pen stylus support. Although, the anticipated design of the Galaxy Tab S3 does not cater for a stylus cradle, which could possible mean that the S Pen stylus may be offered as a separate accessory with the tablet, at an additional cost. As for the looks, the tablet has been rumored to look almost exactly like its predecessor Galaxy Tab S2. ALSO READ: Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 leaked user manual confirms optional S-Pen stylus
Additionally, recently there was a user manual of the tablet that was leaked, which revealed that there will be two variants of the Galaxy Tab S3, out of which one will come with LTE support. In terms of specifications, the Galaxy Tab S3 is likely to feature a 9.6-inch AMOLED display with spilling edges, similar to the S7 edge. It will offer 2048×1536 pixels resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to come powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU. It is further likely to feature 32GB/128GB of internal storage.
There have also been reports that the Galaxy Tab S3 could feature a 12-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front camera for video-calling. The tablet will further run the newer Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box. It is likely to be fuelled by a 5,870mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, it is expected to be Type-C based, and come with a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button on the front.
