As for the result of the benchmarking test, the phone scored 1000 on the single-core test and 5679 on the multi-core test.
Additionally, last week, the Galaxy C7 Pro was also spotted on India s import-export site Zauba, which revealed the smartphone with a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display. Falling perfectly in line with the Geekbench tests, Zauba also showed the smartphone powered by Qualcomm s Snapdragon 625 octa-core chipset paired with 4GB of RAM. It showed the smartphone backed by 3,000mAh battery, along with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support. The Zauba listing showed the Galaxy C7 Pro priced at $199, which translated to nearly Rs 14,000. However, this does not mean that the phone will be priced at this level when launched, the value is computed just for regulatory purposes.
Besides the Galaxy C7 Pro, a Samsung Galaxy C5 Pro has also been churning in the rumor mills. Recently, the latter was also spotted on Zauba. According to the listing, the Samsung smartphone bears the model number SM-C5010, believed to be the Galaxy C5 Pro. The Zauba listing revealed a price tag of Rs 20,483, but it does not necessarily indicate the official price. ALSO READ: After Samsung Galaxy C7 Pro, Galaxy C5 Pro spotted on Zauba
According to rumors so far, the Galaxy C5 Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 3GB of RAM. The Galaxy C7 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to run Qualcomm s Snapdragon 626 processor. So far, there are no further information about the specifications of these two smartphones. As the names suggest, the Galaxy C5 Pro and Galaxy C7 pro will be the successor to the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7. To recap, the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 come with a similar set of specifications but differ in terms of display size, processor and battery size.
However, it is also worth noting that the two smartphones may not launch in India, considering Samsung skipped the Indian market for Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7.
Besides the new C-series phones, Samsung is also rumored to launch a new version of its Galaxy J smartphone, dubbed as the Galaxy J3 (2017). The smartphone will be the successor to the Galaxy J3 (2016), and the upcoming smartphone is expected to come with improvements over its predecessor. The upcoming smartphone too could come with features like the S-bike mode and ultra data saving mode as seen in the Galaxy J series smartphones.
