The Samsung Galaxy F smartphone launch is scheduled for the first half of next year. It is expected to be an extremely niche product, and therefore will not be available widely. The main audience for Galaxy F, according to Samsung, will consist of businessmen and people in senior positions over the age of 40. As not everyone will be able to appreciate its functionality and benefits for foldable design. And, the high price of the device is also unlikely to allow the youth or middle-class consumers to buy it. Realizing this, Samsung will be manufacture limited quantities of its smartphone that is expected to be priced between $1,500 and $2,000. The first batch will only produce a million copies, but if necessary, production volumes may be increased. In comparison, Galaxy S10 series initial production volume is set for 10 million units. And as the March launch of the smartphone approaches, Samsung will switch to mass production of three devices in the hope of maintaining a healthy stock level. It is assumed that the Samsung Galaxy F will be released at MWC 2019 in Barcelona, which will be held in late February. The future device will be equipped with two display, one of which will form a single working panel at a diagonal of 7-inches, while the other when unfolded will add 4-inches more screen space to the device. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor paired with 6GB of RAM, and feature a dual-camera setup at the back.
