Notably, the trademark focusses on the fact that it is meant for a wearable product that could be a wrist watch, a band or a Bangle of sorts that would be connected to the Internet for sending and receiving phone calls, emails, messages and data that would work in tandem with smartphones or tablets. Of course, the big elephant in this space is Apple s rumored iWatch which could see the light of day when Apple has its iPhone and iPad centric events in the latter half of the year. As for Samsung, we could see the Galaxy Gear as soon as September 4, when it will host a Mobile Unpacked event at IFA in Berlin, Germany.
