The listing, spotted by Sammobile, mentions the name Samsung Galaxy J2 Core. It also mentions seven model numbers, which are being currently tested. The listing however doesn t reveal any more details about the smartphone. But the latest spotting, along with a recent listing on US FCC website is a clear indication of an imminent launch. Needless to say, the smartphone will be launched with an ultra-affordable price tag. If and when it is launched in India, it will be the most affordable device in Samsung s Galaxy J-series.

While the new listing doesn t reveal anything about the smartphone s features, previous leaks have. Based on these leaks, the Samsung Galaxy J2 Core is expected to feature a 1.4GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. It is also likely to come with an 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 2,600mAh battery.

As you expect from Google s Android Go initiative, the smartphone will provide smooth user experience despite the meagre specifications. But leaks claim that the device won t run stock Android. Instead, it will run Android 8.1 Oreo wrapped under Samsung s Experience Skin. It will also have all the Google Go apps preloaded.
