Just days after their global unveiling, Samsung has today officially launched its Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ smartphones in India. The USP of both smartphones is its large Infinity Display with a tall 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphones are set to go on sale in the country on September 25 via online and offline channels. The Samsung Galaxy J4+ is priced at Rs 10,990, while the Galaxy J6+ is priced at Rs 15,990. Galaxy J4+ buyers will be able to select from black, blue, and gold color options, while Galaxy J6+ buyers will be able to choose from blue, black, and red colors. As mentioned, the smartphones will be going on sale next week on September 25. They will be available via Amazon India, Flipkart, and Samsung’s online stores. As a part of launch, Samsung will be offering one-time screen replacements till November 11 at Rs 990.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Galaxy J4+ flaunts a 6-inch Infinity Display with HD+ (1480×720 pixels) resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a 1.4GHz quad-core SoC paired with 2GB of RAM, and 32GB onboard storage. For photography, the device is equipped with a 13-megapixel f/1.9 rear camera accompanied by a LED flash. For selfies and video calling, there’s a 5-megapixel f/2.2 front camera.
Making sure everything ticks is a 3,300mAh battery, and for security there’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Connectivity options include 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. On the software front, the dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

As for the Samsung Galaxy J6+, it comes with the same 6-inch HD+ Infinity Display, and 1.4GHz quad-core SoC under the hood. What differs is the 4GB of RAM, and 64GB internal memory.
For photography, the device is equipped with a dual-camera setup at the back that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor (f/1.9 aperture), and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor (f/2.2 aperture). Up front is an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor with f/1.9 aperture.

The Galaxy J6+ too is backed by a 3,300mAh battery, and it too comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone comes with the same set of connectivity options, and runs the same software version.
