Samsung Galaxy J4+, Galaxy J6+ go on sale today via Flipkart and Amazon India

Samsung Galaxy J6+ and Galaxy J4+ are powered by Snapdragon 425 SoC, and come with side-mounted fingerprint sensors.

Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy J4+ and Galaxy J6+ in India. The smartphones fall under the budget segment category, and come with 6-inch Infinity Displays along with side-mounted fingerprint sensors. After much anticipation the two smartphones are going on sale today, via Amazon India, Flipkart, and Samsung’s online store.

The Galaxy J4+ and the Galaxy J6+ are available for Rs 10,990 and Rs 15,990 respectively. However, buyers interested in getting the Galaxy J4+ do have the option to choose between black, blue, and gold color options, while Galaxy J6+ buyers will be able to choose from blue, black, and red colors. Both smartphones are also available with no-cost EMI options across banks. Additionally, Samsung is also offering one-time screen replacements till November 11 at Rs 990.

Samsung Galaxy J4+ features and specifications

The Galaxy J4+ flaunts a 6-inch Infinity Display with HD+ (1480×720 pixels) resolution and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It comes powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC paired with 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in storage. The storage can further be expanded by 512GB with the help of a microSD card.

For photography, the device is equipped with a 13-megapixel camera featuring f/1.9 aperture. It also comes accompanied with an LED flash. For taking selfies and video calling, there’s a 5-megapixel sensor up front with f/2.2 aperture. The device is backed by a 3,300mAh battery, and runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. Additionally, the smartphone features 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, 3.5mm headphone jack. and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Samsung Galaxy J6+ features and specifications

The Galaxy J6+ also features the same 6-inch HD+ Infinity Display, and comes powered by the same Snapdragon 425 SoC under the hood. However, the smartphone packs in 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal memory, with the option to expand storage further up to 512GB with a microSD card.

In the photography department, the device is equipped with a dual-camera setup at the back that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Up front is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/1.9 aperture. The Galaxy J6+ is also backed by a 3,300mAh battery, and runs Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-box.
