Samsung recently launched the Galaxy J8, Galaxy J6, and Galaxy J4 smartphones in India. The Galaxy J4 is an affordable smartphone, whereas the Galaxy J6 and Galaxy J8 are the mid-range devices. Now, looks like Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy J4 Prime and Galaxy J6 Prime smartphones too.
Support pages for both the Galaxy J4 Prime and Galaxy J6 Prime were spotted on Samsung’s Vietnamese site (via GalaxyClub.nl). While the Galaxy J4 and J6 are powered by an Exynos chipset, the Prime variants could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC.
The support page lists Galaxy J4 Prime with model number SM-J415F, whereas the Galaxy J6 model number is listed as SM-J610F. Both smartphones are also expected to run Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box with Samsung Experience UI on top, but don’t expect Android 9.0 Pie too soon. Sadly, there is no word on the specifications and features of the smartphones.
