Samsung is all set to introduce its two selfie-focused smartphones in India. After unveiling them in China last month, the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 may be launched at an event in New Delhi today. In China, the Galaxy J5 was launched with a price tag of 1,398 Yuan (Rs 14,300 approximately) and the Galaxy J7 was launched with a price tag of 1,798 Yuan (Rs 18,400 approximately). As far as the specifications go, Samsung highlights the camera of the two smartphones especially the front camera. Both the smartphones sport a 5-megapixel wide angle front camera with a front-facing LED flash. At the back, the smartphones feature a 13-megapixel snapper with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. First up is the Galaxy J5 which flaunts a 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display, and is powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. Coming to the Galaxy J7, it is a more powerful smartphone and it flaunts a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) display. It is powered by a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM. It also features 16GB internal storage, microSD card slot, and a 3,000mAh battery.
Connectivity options on both smartphones include dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. On the software front, both run on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
