We already know that Samsung is working on the 2017 iteration of the Galaxy J7, and thanks to a number of rumors, we know that Samsung is going to take the wraps off the smartphone very soon. The upcoming smartphone has again been spotted on GFXBench revealing new details about the Galaxy J7 (2017). Prior to this, a different version of the device was reportedly listed on GFXBench earlier this year.

According to the listings, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) will flaunt a 5.5-inch full-HD display, with the Samsung Exynos 7870 processor paired with the Mali-T830 GPU chip and 3GB of RAM under the hood. Also on offer will be 16GB of internal storage. The listing also suggests that the phone will sport a 12-megapixel camera on both sides. On the software front, the Galaxy J7 (2017) is said to run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. It is difficult to comment on the authenticity of the information and we would recommend you take it with a pinch of salt.

Back in February,  the Galaxy J7 (2017) was spotted on GFXBench revealing that the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor clocked at 1.5GHz, paired with a Mali-T830 GPU, and 2GB of RAM. However, Geekbench reveals that the smartphone will run Android 7.0 Nougat OS, and will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset clocked at 2.21GHz. The chipset has the Adreno 506 GPU built-in, along with 2GB of RAM.

Apart from the specs leak, we have also come across some leaked renders hinting at a new rear panel design with a metallic strip for the camera and flash module on the smartphone. On the other hand, a video render revealed that the smartphone will come with a similar design to its predecessor. Apart from that the Galaxy J7 (2017) will feature volume buttons on the left while the right side will have the power button.
