In line with previous leaks, the highlight of Samsung’s new smartphone is the dual-camera setup at the back. The setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor, and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. For selfies, there s an 8-megapixel camera up front. All three camera sensors sport f/1.9 aperture, which Samsung claims will help in clicking photos in low-light conditions. As far as specifications are concerned, the Galaxy J7 Duo flaunts a 5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) Super AMOLED display, and is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core SoC. There is 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage, which will be expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

For security, the Galaxy J7 Duo features a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button up front, and includes Face Unlock feature as well. The smartphone is backed by a 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, 4G with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, and GLONASS. On the software front, the device runs Android Oreo out-of-the-box. There is also a new feature called App Pair built-in, which lets users work on two apps simultaneously.
