Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 price officially slashed in India, now available at Rs 11,990

Samsung has quietly slashed the price of its Galaxy J7 Prime 2 in India. The smartphone was launched at Rs 13,990, but it is now available for Rs 11,990 on its official online store. It is available in two color options, Black and Gold. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 boasts a metal unibody design, and comes with built-in Samsung Mall. Another highlight of the smartphone is the addition of Samsung Pay Mini. The payments feature allows you to make transactions using UPI as well as e-wallets.

Now at this reduced price the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 competes with Honor 9N, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Asus Zenfone Max Pro (M1).

Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 Specifications and Features

Upfront the smartphone packs a 5.5-inch full HD display with 2.5D curved glass on top. It features a dedicated fingerprint sensor on the front. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime 2 is powered by a 1.6GHz Exynos octa-core SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card.

For optics, there’s a 13-megapixel camera at the back and a 13-megapixel sensor up front. Both cameras include f/1.9 aperture lenses. The rear camera supports auto-focus, and comes with LED flash support. It is fueled by a 3,300mAh battery. On the software front, the Galaxy J7 Prime 2 runs Android Nougat out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include USB 2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, Bluetooth v4.1, and GPS.
