After rolling out Android Lollipop to the Galaxy S4 in February, Samsung is now rolling out its latest Lollipop update to Galaxy Note 3 users in India. Sammobile reports that devices in question are the Exynos (SM-N900) variant of the handset, which is the one being sold in India. The update is gradual so it might take some time before it reaches you. It is being rolled in both INU and INS (different Indian) regions in the country through OTA updates and Samsung Kies. To check if an update is available for your Galaxy Note 3, head to Settings >> About device >> Software update >> Update. The update is also being rolled out in Kazakhstan, Russia and Ukraine as well. It is also reported that the Galaxy Note 2 is scheduled to get a Lollipop update. While many Galaxy S5 users have got a Lollipop update, the Indian audience is yet to receive one. Meanwhile, there is still no timeline provided by Samsung on when its latest flagship Galaxy Note 4 will get the update. We recommend you to free up some space and download the update through a good Wi-Fi connection. Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge that run on Android Lollipop out of the box. The smartphones bring in a whole new lighter UI, many tweaks and feature additions with its custom built TouchWiz UI.
