Rumors have been abuzz about Samsung‘s Galaxy Note 3 Lite phone, which might as well be launched as the Galaxy Note 3 Neo in some countries, GSMArena suggests. It has been tipped some documents with internal product positioning detail, which hints that the ‘Lite’ version of the Galaxy Note has rather been named as the Galaxy Note 3 Neo. This could possibly mean two different versions of the phone in the making for different countries. The leaked information also hints that the Galaxy Note 3 Neo will be placed somewhere between the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy Note 3. Going by the features, the Galaxy Note 3 Neo looks like the successor of the Galaxy Note 2, instead of being a toned down version of the Galaxy Note 3. It is likely to come with a Galaxy Note 2-like 5.55-inch HD (720p) Super AMOLED display, an 8-megapixel camera, and 3,100 mAh battery. However, this new variant will instead be powered by the new hexa-core processor with dual-core ticking at 1.7GHz and quad-core at 1.3GHz, than 1.6GHz quad-core Exynos seen on the Galaxy Note 2. Though the 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage will remain like the previous model.
Besides this, Samsung has used its Galaxy Note 3 like faux leather back cover, which was recently also seen on the Galaxy Grand 2. Moreover, the newbie will also come with Samsung’s smart features including air command and advanced multi-window.
Though the leaked information does not mention the launch date of the Galaxy Note 3 Neo, it is likely that Samsung announce the phone at MWC 2014 next month.
