Samsung Galaxy Note’s series signature accessory is the S Pen that the company highlights as a big USP. And it seems that the S Pen in the Galaxy Note 5 could have more functionality than ever before, if leaked photos are to be believed. The latest leak comes from AndroidGuys, in the form of live photos of the Galaxy Note 5’s S Pen, revealing a shiny metal-clad stylus compete with an interesting clickable button on top. This could be a strategic design change to ease user experience while removing the pen from the body of the smartphone. However, this is just pure speculation and the top design change could just be a way to extend the S Pen further. Even the stylus with Microsoft’s Surface tablet has a clickable button on top that opens the One Note app on which users can scribble. The Galaxy Note 5 is expected to boast a slim profile, with a metal frame and glass-covered front and back. From what we have heard so far, the it will feature dimensions of 153.3×76.1×7.9mm, a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, Exynos or Snapdragon processor depending upon the market, 4GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, and a 3,220mAh battery.
While traditionally, Samsung has unveiled new Galaxy Note phablets at IFA in Berlin, this year it wants to get a head start over the iPhones and is rumored to launch it on August 12.
