Samsung is all set to launch its phablet, the Galaxy Note 8, on August 23. The Galaxy Note 8 has been in the rumor mills for a pretty long time now, and as the launch date draws closer, the leaks get stronger. Just yesterday, a leaked image of the Galaxy Note 8 showed its front panel sporting the infinity display. A new image has been leaked and this time, the phablet s full design is revealed along with the S Pen. The source of this image is leakster Evan Blass, who had also leaked the image yesterday of the Galaxy Note 8 s front panel. The leak shows the Galaxy Note 8 and the S Pen in gold and black colors. Starting with the front panel, the phablet sports a curved display with thin bezels on top and bottom, and no home button. The front camera lens along with sensors is visible, which will possibly be for facial recognition.
As rumored before, the Bixby button is placed on the right side, while the power key and volume rocker sit on the left. The S Pen also sports a similar design to the Galaxy Note 7. Staying true to leaks again, the dual rear cameras with LED flash are placed on the top center with the fingerprint sensor just beside it. A recent leak revealed the possible features of the Galaxy Note 8 s dual-camera setup. These include 3X optical zoom, perspective shift, Super Night Shot , and refocusing to achieve depth of field effect. The dual-camera module on the Galaxy Note 8 could possibly include a pair of 13-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel telephoto sensor. Samsung has borrowed some features of the Galaxy S8 series for the Galaxy Note 8 with the infinity display, and rear fingerprint sensor. Specifications wise, the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be powered by Snapdragon 835 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM, and a 3,300mAh battery.
