Earlier this month, Samsung announced the Galaxy Note 8 flagship smartphone in India. The device goes on sale today. The company kicked off pre-orders shortly after the launch on September 12 via its official website and Amazon India. Priced at Rs 67,900, the flagship smartphone comes with 6GB of RAM and an onboard storage of 64GB. In India, it’s available in two color options Maple Gold and Midnight Black. To participate in today’s sale, it’s mandatory to have registered in pre-bookings. Fortunately, pre-bookings are still open and if you missed out on it earlier you can still book a unit for yourself. Considering widespread interest, Samsung is believed to have already received a huge amount of pre-order requests. Effectively, the smartphone could quickly go out-of-stock in India. As part of the sale, potential buyers will be treated to a host of discount and finance offers. According to the listing on Amazon India, you can avail a discount of up to Rs 10,000 on the exchange of your old smartphone. In addition, Samsung also introduced an exchange or rather an upgrade offer dedicated to Samsung Galaxy smartphone users. To avail the Samsung Upgrade discount, go to My Galaxy App on your existing Samsung smartphone. Enter the ‘Upgrade Program’ tab to see exchange price, discount, and the Quote ID. In addition, Reliance Jio is offering Jio Prime membership and 448GB of 4G data free with the purchase of the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone. To activate the Additional Data Voucher and avail the Offer, you will have to download the MyJio app and then go to My Vouchers> View Voucher > Recharge my number > Confirm Recharge > Successful Recharge Notification. Other offers from Samsung include a free one-time screen replacement and Rs 4,000 cashback with HDFC credit cards.
