Samsung Galaxy Note 8 leaked render hints at a 'large' Infinity display

Here's another closer look at the much awaited Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

There seems to be no stopping to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 leaks. Even as the official launch is approximately a month away, all possible key details have emerged online. Now, a new leak reveals the alleged front design of the smartphone, giving us a good idea about how it ll look. Well, the leak is not too different from previous leaks, which disclosed front and back of the smartphone. But the latest leaked image gives us much closer look at the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The image, leaked by Slashleaks, shows the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 with no side bezels and instead, the device comes with the same Infinity Display as on the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The top and the bottom bezels are relatively slimmer. There is no cut-out for the earpiece grille. However, to accommodate the front camera and the sensors, Samsung has retained the entire bezel, making the display placement look aligned. The physical home button is also missing in the smartphone. The leak also shows two buttons on the left edge of the smartphone – one being the volume rocker and the other being the Bixby button, the same as in the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+. The power button is on the right edge of the smartphone. The display appears to be elongated and is said to come with the 19.5:9. Rumors have pegged the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 display to be at 6.3-inch. The larger screen to body ratio is expected to ensure the overall effect is not too bulky and the smartphone is comfortable to hold. Coming to other rumored specifications, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to run Qualcomm s top-end Snapdragon 835 chipset. The smartphone will also come with a dual rear camera setup, with the dual lens and the flashlight positioned under the same glass covering, a feature which is already receiving criticism. The fingerprint scanner is placed on the extreme right. While the gap between the camera lens and the scanner is slightly wider.

There are a lot of expectations from the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 as it will succeed the last year s doomed Galaxy Note 7. This time around Samsung is said to be using a 3,300mAh battery, which has once again raised concerns by critics who are skeptical about the smartphone being rather underpowered for a device with a larger display.
