It will start shipping from September 21, and buyers will be able to choose from two color options Midnight Black and Maple Gold. Under this offer, one can exchange either their old Samsung device, or a device from any other brand. The phablet can also be bought with EMI plans starting from Rs 2,829 per month. In addition, Samsung is also offering a one-time screen replacement, and a free Convertible Wireless Charger along with your purchase.
Samsung has a special offer for Reliance Jio users. On purchasing the Galaxy Note 8, a Reliance Jio subscriber can get up to 448GB of extra 4G data added to their account over a period of eight months. The Galaxy Note 8 comes with a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED panel with QHD+ resolution, and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. It is powered by the 64-bit Exynos 8895 octa-core SoC aided by a 6GB RAM. The 64GB onboard storage comes with expansion support for up to 2TB via micro SD card. The Galaxy Note 8 comes bundled with S Pen, and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the box. The Galaxy Note 8 is Samsung’s first dual rear camera enabled smartphone. The twin-lens setup uses a pair of 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/1.7 aperture and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture. Notably, both the lenses have Optical Image Stabilization. Up front, you will find an 8-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization for selfies and video calling. In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy Note 8 has support for 4G with VoLTE, dual SIM-card slots, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS and USB Type-C.
