Samsung will be launching its phablet, the Galaxy Note 8, in India pretty soon. The pre-registrations for the smartphone have now begun on the company’s official website. If you are interested, you can head over to Samsung India’s official website and pre-register to get the latest information on the arrival of the Galaxy Note 8. It is to be noted that this isn’t a pre-booking of the smartphone, but only a pre-registration for the latest updates. However, this is the first official confirmation of the smartphone launching in India, which is expected to take place soon.
The pre-registration process is pretty simple with necessary details to be filled out like name, email, mobile number, and address. As seen previously, Samsung also has a list of features for you to choose from of the Galaxy Note 8 that interests you the most. Samsung had launched the Galaxy Note 8 at an event on August 23. The company had revealed availability details for the smartphone, but only for select markets. However, recently reports emerged suggesting that the Galaxy Note 8 will go on sale in India starting September 25.
In addition to this, it was also reported that the Galaxy Note 8 will be priced at either Rs 69,900 and Rs 74,900. During its first sale, the Galaxy Note 8 will be available in two colors of black and gold. Like the Galaxy S8 duo’s launch offer, Samsung is also said to offer a free wireless charger on the purchase of the Galaxy Note 8. Samsung Galaxy Note 8 specifications
To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display, with a 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Under its hood, runs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC or an Exynos 8895 SoC, depending on the launch market. For the Indian market, we can expect the Exynos-powered model, as was the case with the Galaxy S8 duo. For photography, the Galaxy Note 8 sports a pair of 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens. Both the lenses support Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), making it a first in a smartphone. The Galaxy Note 8 is fueled by a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging support, both wired and wireless. Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G, VoLTE and USB Type-C port.
