Samsung is conducting its ‘Happy hour’ sale on Amazon India where it is offering discounts on various smartphones including Galaxy On5 Pro, Galaxy On7 Pro, and Galaxy S8. Apart from these, Samsung is selling the Galaxy Note 8 for Rs 3,000 less. The smartphone, which is originally priced at Rs 67,900 is now available at Rs 64,900. The company has slashed the price of the Maple Gold variant only. The Midnight Black, on the other hand, is available for the original price.

Apart from the flagship phone, Amazon India is also offering discounts on Galaxy-On Series. The Galaxy On5 Pro will be available at Rs 6,990, while Galaxy On7 Pro will retail at Rs 7,490 during the sale period. The company is offering a discount of Rs 2,000 on both the models. However, the offers are valid only until 2:00PM today.

The Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display, running at QHD resolution with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The smartphone is layered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Under the hood, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 octa-core SoC paired with 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage that is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card.

In the photography department, the Galaxy Note 8 is equipped with a pair of 12-megapixel telephoto lens and wide-angle sensors with OIS. For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel camera of f/1.7 aperture. Keeping the smartphone ticking is a 3,300mAh battery.

Its connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and USB Type-C port. On the software front, it runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the-box.
