The leak was posted on Weibo, and is a part of a 3D printed prototype. As per the specifications leaked, Galaxy Note 8 will come with a 6.4-inch display. One surprise the Galaxy Note S8 leaks spring is the lack of a home button or a fingerprint sensor anywhere on the smartphone. This leads to the assumption that Samsung will go the no-button way and might embed the fingerprint sensor under the display, much like the upcoming Apple iPhone 8 is rumored to do. However, Apple and Samsung have already been beaten to the game by Xiaomi which debuted its Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship smartphone with the biometric authentication under the display.
The leaked renders also show a vertical dual-camera setup at the back of the device. The feature is in keeping with previous leaks, and news also suggests Samsung might work on a dual-camera for the Galaxy Note 8. Considering dual cameras are the latest trend in the market, the phone maker is under high pressure to innovate and present newer features with the dual-camera setup. The smartphone will also come with an Iris scanner on the front of the device. ALSO READ: Samsung Galaxy 3V tablet with ‘CG Slate Plus’ now available for Rs 15,999
