Samsung Galaxy Note 8 leaks have kept nothing about the phone a secret – or so it was believed. Despite extensive leaks surrounding the smartphone, rumors still manage to crop every single day. Just yesterday, we learned that the Galaxy Note 8 might come with a Bixby-powered wireless headset. Now, while details about the dual rear cameras are out, the latest leak claims that Samsung will be announcing an all new color variant of the smartphone – Deep Blue. The new color will likely be different from the Coral Blue that Samsung already has in its lineup. The smartphone will come in four other color variants too. Samsung has always been big on camera features and though the Galaxy S8 missed the dual cameras, Samsung is making it up with the Galaxy Note 8. The smartphone is rumored to come with dual-rear cameras, along with 3X Optical Zoom. The smartphone will come in an all metal-and-glass body with no side bezels, slim top and bottom bezels. Surprisingly, Samsung too showed a yet unannounced smartphone on Twitter through Exynos account. The device is believed to be the Galaxy Note 8. Taking a quick look at the rumored specifications, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is most likely to come with a 6.2-inch Infinity Display. Unfortunately, Samsung had to ditch plans of an in-display fingerprint scanner and instead stick with the traditional scanner on the rear panel of the smartphone. The placement is slightly modified with the LED flash and the lasers creating a slight gap between the camera lenses and the fingerprint scanner. On the processor front, there will be two variants of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 smartphone – one powered by Snapdragon 835 chipset and the other the Samsung in-house Exynos processor. The RAM is most likely to be 6GB. ALSO READ: Google and Samsung could surpass Apple in terms of app revenue: Report
Another thing about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 that has baffled critics is the rumored battery specification. As per leaks, the smartphone will sport a 3,200 mAh juicer, a downsizing from the 3,500 mAh battery that the Note 7 had. Considering the display size is now larger, it will be interesting to see how Samsung tweaks the battery to provide enough power for longer survival. The smartphone will directly compete with Apple iPhone 8 and interestingly, Google Pixel 2 will also be announced at the same time. The “Deep Blue” Samsung Galaxy Note 8 shade is not unlike the Google Pixel exclusive Blue variant – we only hope it’s not restricted only to the US like Google. There have also been reports of a leaked S Pen or the Stylus that the Note 8 will sport. In terms of design, there is nothing new though the Stylus is likely to come with certain modified specifications. The accuracy and the usability features are expected t be enhanced. Photos shared by Slashleaks show no change to the design at all.
