If this report turns out to be true, then the Galaxy Note 8 would be even bigger than the Galaxy Note 7 which had a display size of 5.7-inch. Both the devices feature Super AMOLED panels with QHD resolution and aspect ratio of 18:5:9. The Galaxy S8 series however sport a tall design, so it remains to be seen how Samsung would incorporate the bigger display size on the Galaxy Note 8.
A report by The Korean Herald complements the constant rumor of dual-camera setup on the Galaxy Note 8. The report says that Samsung is expected to feature a dual-camera setup on the Galaxy Note 8, which has been inevitable. The report also mentions that Samsung had planned to use dual-cameras on the Galaxy S8 series, but couldn t due to cost issues.
Reliable analyst Ming Chi Kuo of KGI Securities recently said that the Galaxy Note 8 could sport a pair of 12-megapixel wide-angle camera and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Things are still sketchy on the specifications front of the Galaxy Note 8, but recent reports highlight that the phablet will be powered by either Qualcomm s Snapdragon 835 SoC or an Exynos 9-series chipset. The chipsets would depend on the region of sale. In terms of memory, the Galaxy Note 8 is expected to come with 6GB of RAM and internal storage could go up to 256GB. Some leaked images and schematics of the Galaxy Note 8 reveal ultra-thin or almost bezel-less design. The front panel is expected to house a speaker grille below the display.
