Samsung Galaxy Note 9, the flagship smartphone from the Korean giant, will be launched on August 9. The Galaxy Note 9 is said to look identical to its predecessor with minor design changes like the fingerprint sensor placed below the dual rear camera setup and S Pen supporting Bluetooth. Now, the clones of the upcoming smartphone have popped up in the form of real life images. This is not a new thing. Ahead of the release of every major smartphone, smaller and lesser known brands try to take the limelight by copying the design, only thing being that success is often limited. Now, the image posted online of the fake Galaxy Note 9 shows the device in black, blue and gold color variants. The frontal pictures of the device reveal the Samsung Experience UI that has been copied from previous flagship models from the company. The wallpaper on the fake Galaxy Note 9 seems to be similar to the one found on Galaxy Note 8.
While this fake version of the Galaxy Note 9 looks glorious from the back, it undermines Samsung’s engineering from the front. The smartphone has huge bezels at the front which is contrary to what we will see on Samsung‘s version of the Note series. The frame of the phone is thicker and the edge design also seems to be much less pronounced.

This can be passed as the very first attempt at copying the Galaxy Note 9 based on renders and not really having a look at the real device. As time progresses, we might see more such smartphones that mimic the Note 9 design but lack the prowess and polish of Samsung’s industrial design and engineering.
