Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is official, and many are arguing that it doesn t exactly serve as a substantial upgrade over its predecessor. The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 comes with a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, which features a resolution of 1440×2960 pixels, and an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. After running intensive tests on it, DisplayMate stated in its report that the Galaxy Note 9 screen managed to get very good to excellent scores in almost all categories, making it the highest scoring smartphone with an A+ grade. Not just that, Samsung has also managed to raise the screen brightness to 710 nits, which is 27 percent higher than the Galaxy Note 8. The screen also offers the largest color gamut recorded at 113 percent DCI-P3, and 142 percent sRGB / Rec.709. It s stated to have the highest contrast ratio as well, which is mentioned as Infinite”. The screen is also said to have the smallest variations to viewing angles compared to other smartphones in the past.

This possibly makes the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 one of the best devices for media consumption. The website further states that the screen on the new flagship also trumps the one featured on Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. That said, the two smartphones are the only devices to receive an All Green rating in All categories in DisplayMate s test.
