Samsung has already announced that it will be unveiling the Galaxy Note 9 on August 9 in New York. There is no word on India launch date yet, but a recent teaser on Flipkart suggested that it will be available via the e-commerce portal. Now, according to a report on PCMag India, Samsung will start taking pre-orders for the smartphone on August 10, and it will be available in India starting August 22.
A lot has already been leaked about the Galaxy Note 9, including a hands-on video, leaked renders and more. Now, the introduction video of the smartphone has also been leaked, which highlights its top features. And if that’s not enough, a retail box has already been leaked, revealing all of its key specifications.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9 expected specifications and features
The smartphone is expected to flaunt a 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood will either be an Exynos 9810 SoC or Snapdragon 845 chipset, which will be market dependent. The base variant will come with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage, along with a microSD card slot for further expansion. A variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB / 512GB storage is also expected.
In the photography department, a dual camera setup with 12-megapixel dual-aperture lens and a 12-megapixel sensor with telephoto lens is expected. Up front, an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling is expected. Slow motion video recording at 960fps, and AR Emoji feature is also likely to be in tow.
The leaked retail box hints at 4,000mAh battery with wireless charging and fast charging features. It also confirms the fact that the S Pen will come with Bluetooth connectivity. Lastly, features like Bixby, IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, and Samsung Pay are expected.
