The app is similar in approach to Facebook Lite and Messenger Lite, and is meant for use on low-end smartphones and slow internet connections.

Apple is reportedly considering launching a bundled subscription service that includes music and video streaming services, as well as cloud storage, similar to the approach taken by Amazon with its Prime subscription service. It’s likely that users will be allowed to subscribe to individual services separately, but will get a discounted price for the bundled service.
OnePlus 6T concept video shows a pop-up camera module
The OnePlus 6 has just launched and we’re still some months away from its successor the OnePlus 6T, but a new concept video shows what we might expect with the second OnePlus device of 2018. The video shows a pop-up front camera, an in-display fingerprint sensor and a triple-camera setup at the rear. The OnePlus 6 was launched last month, and is priced from Rs 34,999 in India.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 series has sold over 5 million units since launch
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro have sold over five million units since the launch of the two phones in February this year. The popular range of smartphones from Xiaomi is the company’s best selling range in India, and is likely the best-selling smartphone series in the country among all brands as well. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is priced from Rs 9,999, while the Redmi Note 5 Pro is priced from Rs 14,999.
