Earlier this month, reliable tipster Evan Blass had shared a render of a white variant of the Samsung Galaxy Note 9. At that time, he wasn’t sure on the authenticity of the render. A fresh report from MyDrivers now states that Samsung has confirmed its plans to unveil the Galaxy Note 9 white version later this week.
The arrival of the Galaxy Note 9 white variant seems to be timed for the upcoming holiday seasons sales in Taiwan. This new variant is yet to be announced in any other market, which suggests that Taiwan could be the first market to receive it. It is speculated that it will be priced at NT$30,900 (approximately Rs 72,600) in the Taiwanese market. This model could be equipped with 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. Previous reports have also claimed that the new color variant could be called ‘Pure White’.
The leaked image by Blass shows that the handset would be equipped with a matching white colored S-Pen stylus. In Taiwan, the Galaxy Note 9 is available in colors like Lavender Purple, Metallic Copper, Midnight Black, and Ocean Blue. The Pure White version will be selling alongside the aforementioned color variants of the phone in the country.
