Now the Galaxy On5 (2016) has been spotted on Zauba, which is India’s import-export website. The listing doesn t reveal much about the smartphone, except the codename SM-G5700 and that it features a 5-inch display. As the name suggests, this upcoming smartphone is the successor to last year’s Galaxy On5, which is priced at Rs 8,990. As per the listing, the smartphones have been sent for R&D and evaluation in India, Sammobile reports. In other words, Samsung could be planning to soon launch the Galaxy On5 (2016) in India. Last year’s Galaxy On5 featured a 5-inch 720p display, Exynos 3475 quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 8-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 2,600mAh battery.
Last week, the Galaxy On7 (2016) was also spotted on benchmarking site revealing some key specifications of the smartphone. According to the listing, the Samsung Galaxy On7 (2016) will feature a 4.8-inch full HD (1080p) AMOLED screen, 2GHz octa-core processor with Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The Galaxy On7 (2016) will come with 16GB of internal storage. On the camera front, the smartphone is likely to sport a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The Galaxy On7 (2016) will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
In comparison, the Galaxy On7 featured a 5.5-inch 720p display, Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a bigger 3,000mAh battery.
