Samsung launched the Galaxy On8 in India last week, and the smartphone is available starting today. The latest smartphone in Samsung’s ‘Galaxy On’ series will be available online with a price tag of Rs 16,990.

The Samsung Galaxy On8 will be available today for Rs 16,990, which is essentially an introductory price. The device’s actual cost is Rs 17,990. The smartphone will be going on sale at 12:00PM IST, and it will be available via Flipkart and Samsung India e-store.
Buyers will be able to take advantage of a bunch of offers. These include double data offer with Reliance Jio, and cashbacks worth Rs 2,750. Flipkart is also offering Rs 400 discount to buyers using Axis Bank Buzz credit cards.

Samsung Galaxy On8 features, specifications
The Samsung Galaxy On8’s highlights include an Infinity Display, and dual cameras backed by Artificial Intelligence. As far as specifications are concerned, it comes with a 6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. There is also 64GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB using a microSD card.
For photography, there is a dual-camera setup (16-megapixel+5-megapixel) at the back, and a 16-megapixel selfie camera with f/1.9 aperture. Making sure everything ticks is a 3,500mAh battery. On the software front, the device runs Android 8.0 Oreo. The smartphone also comes preloaded with Samsung’s ‘Make for India’ Chat Over Video feature, which allows users to enjoy uninterrupted video viewing experience while chatting.
