We had earlier reported about Samsung’s plans to release the Galaxy S 4 mini alongside the Galaxy S 4 back at the Mobile Unpacked event in New York. Though the Galaxy S 4 mini missed the expected launch date, Samsung doesn’t seem to have forgotten about it as the folks at SamMobile have uncovered the first set of images for this device.

From the set of leaked images, the Galaxy S 4 mini looks like a scaled down version of its big brother, the Galaxy S 4.The device is most likely going to be available in a single-SIM and Dual-SIM variants and seems to be sporting a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD (256ppi) display. It is also expected to be powered by a 1.6GHz Dual-core processor. On the software side of things, the Galaxy S 4 mini is likely to be running on Android 4.2.2 with the latest TouchWiz Nature UX 2.0. The Galaxy S 4 mini will follow the Galaxy S III mini which as the name suggests is a scaled down version of the Galaxy S III and was launched in October. Though there is no official word yet, the report claims that the Galaxy S 4 mini is most likely going to be launched sometime around June or July.
