Samsung Galaxy S10 is the next highly anticipated flagship device. Previous reports had claimed that the smartphone would come with an under the display fingerprint scanner, but newer reports have confirmed that and more. According to the latest reports, the Samsung Galaxy S10 will possibly get Qualcomm’s third-generation ultra-sonic fingerprint sensor. And application of this technology is being done at the cost of the iris-scanner that is present in the currently available flagships from the company.
According to tipster Ice Universe, Samsung also expects the fingerprint technology to be exclusive for at least six months in the year 2019. The new fingerprint sensor is all set to be faster than the presently available under display fingerprint sensor. The new technology will also be cover around 30 percent of the screen which is a larger area, making things easier for the user. This will help avoid the problem that is there with the present generation under display fingerprint sensors, which is that they cover too little of the screen and the user has to be pinpoint when using the fingerprint sensor.
And the larger area coverage will not be the only positive aspect of the new fingerprint sensor, the new ultra-sonic technology will top the present optic sensors by quite a bit.

The new ultra-sonic technology from Samsung will apparently capture a 3D image of the user’s fingerprint along with the sweat pores and ridges hence creating a more distinct image. This could be a game changer in the under the display fingerprint sensor technology in the business.
