It won t be an exaggeration to say that modern-day smartphones are (almost) mini computers, having everything from multi-core CPUs to quad-camera systems. Quoting a recent report from LEI Technology, T3 has said that the next-generation flagships from Samsung and Huawei – most likely to be called Galaxy S10 and P30 Pro, respectively could come with a ridiculous 12GB of RAM. That much RAM would most likely be reserved for the top-end variants of the smartphones.
If the report from LEI Technology is indeed true, Samsung Galaxy S10 and Huawei P30 Pro would be significant step-ups from their respective predecessors Galaxy S9+ and P20 Pro at least as far as the RAM is concerned.

Currently, no Android application (or even the OS itself) is demanding enough to require this much RAM for its functioning, so it ll be interesting to see what extra functionalities (if any) the Galaxy S10 and P30 Pro come with to justify that (alleged) 12GB of RAM inside them.
