We’ve only come across some Galaxy Note 9 leaks, but rumors about the Galaxy S10 have already started emerging. Given that the device is going to be Samsung’s 10-year anniversary flagship, the company is expected to come up with something revolutionary. According to a recent leak, the Galaxy S10 will be featuring an in-display finger print sensor. The feature was expected to be introduced with the Galaxy Note 9, but recent rumors around the handset have claimed otherwise.
Vivo and Huawei already have devices that feature in-display finger print sensors. But these are optical sensors developed by Synaptics. Samsung however, plans on developing its very own ultrasonic technology, which promises to be more accurate. According to a Chinese website called, Chosun, Samsung has already completed the development of the technology, but needs more time in making it precise.
Other rumors have pointed out that Samsung plans on improving their 3D sense camera technology with the S10. This will help make Face Unlock more accurate, while also improving performance with AR Emoji. The S10 is also rumored to come with a bigger body and a display of 6.3 inches. It is said to feature Samsung’s Infinite Display, but with even smaller bezels.

That said, it’s still too early to talk about the S10. A rumor earlier had also suggested that Samsung had plans on launching a smartphone with a foldable screen, under the name of Galaxy X. While that can be a little far-fetched, we think it’s still okay to be optimistic about expecting an S10 with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
