Samsung had mentioned that it would bring the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update to its top of the line smartphones when it launched the Gear in India. And now the company has finally started rolling out the OS update on Galaxy S4s with Exynos version in India. With this update the Galaxy S4 will also become compatible with the Galaxy Gear smartwatch.

The update can either be downloaded via Kies app on desktop or using over-the-air download. However, in case you don’t get any such notification, we suggest you to wait for the next round of distribution by the company. The software update is over 658MB in size and carries a number of features and improvements.

Along with support for Galaxy Gear smartwatch, the update will bring an improved UI, multimedia functions, and other new features like Knox security service amongst others. It also improves performance in RAM management, comes with better display color reproduction and graphics, and brings stability improvements as well.
