The hoopla around the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active doesn’t seem to settle. After leaked photos and a brief appearance at Samsung’s website, the latest leak suggests the Galaxy S6 Active would sport a QHD display after all. The Active series is crafted for folks who want to enjoy the luxuries of a premium phone without bothering about the harsh conditions it’s used in.The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has been spotted several times, thanks to the leaked images making rounds on the Internet. After being spotted on Samsung’s care program, the Galaxy S6 Active User Agent Profile confirms the device model number as SM-G890A. It can be further deduced from the UAP that the Galaxy S6 Active will come with a QHD (1440 x 3560 pixel) display.
Under the hood we will most likely find the Exynos 7420 SoC with eight cores, clocked at 2.1GHz. The smartphone will come with 3GB of RAM and as reported earlier, a bigger 3,500mAh battery. As with all the Active series phones, the Galaxy S6 Active will be water and dust resistant with an IP67 rating. This allows the Galaxy S6 Active to be submerged into water at a depth of a metre for a duration of 30 minutes. The rubberized bumpers and the physical key ensure that the device does not suffer from any damages in case of an accidental fall.
That being said, it would be safe to assume that Samsung Galaxy S6 Active would be officially announced anytime now.
