Samsung is all set to unveil the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus alongside the Galaxy Note 5 on August 13 in New York. But ahead of that, Sammobile provides us with another leak giving us details about the camera of the upcoming Galaxy S6 Edge Plus smartphone. The smartphone apparently went through Indian import tracker site Zauba under the model number SM-G928. Samsung was importing as many as 500 pieces of 16-megapixel camera modules destined for that model number, clearly indicating that the S6 Edge Plus will come with the 16-megapixel sensor. This is similar to the camera found on the S6 Edge as well. There is no mention of the front camera, but it is speculated to be at 5-megapxels.

The company has officially announced the Unpacked event next month, and the invites even subtly hinted at the S6 Edge Plus unveil. It is said to be the larger variant of the Galaxy S6 Edge and won’t have any changes in terms of design, but is expected to feature a QHD display, 2.1GHz Exynos 7420 64-bit processor, Mali T760 GPU, 32GB internal storage, and will run on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. As mentioned above, Samsung is also unveiling the Galaxy Note 5 has been subjected to many leaks. From what we have heard so far, it is expected to feature a 5.7-inch QHD Super AMOLED display, Exynos or Snapdragon processor depending upon the market, 4GB of RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, and a 3,220mAh battery. It is also expected to purge one of Galaxy S6’s biggest sins by featuring a microSD card slot.
