Samsung today took the wraps off the Galaxy S6 at its Unpacked event in Barcelona. Alongside the flagship however, the company also unveiled a variant with a curved display called the Galaxy S6 Edge. While not a lot differentiates the Galaxy S6 Edge from the Galaxy S6 in terms of specifications and features, it is the display that is the talking point. The display curves on both sides, and all the way to the back. The curved portion acts as a secondary display where you can view notifications and launch applications with one hand. As mentioned above, the specifications remain the same. So in essence you get a QHD display, Exynos 7420 octa-core processor with 64-bit capability and 3GB of RAM. Also included is a 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera, 2,550mAh battery, and on the software front it runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box wrapped under an overhauled TouchWiz UI.
