Samsung is widely expected to unveil the Galaxy S6 early next year, and the web is abuzz with rumors and leaks regarding the forthcoming flagship device. The latest leak allegedly shows the body of the Galaxy S6 revealing a new design and a fluorescent color scheme,PhoneArena reports.
Often criticized for being monotonous and not much innovative with its phone’s designs, Samsung reportedly started working on a new design principle for its flagship handset earlier this year. According to reports, the company has codenamed the Galaxy S6 handset as “Project Zero,” signifying that it is building the handset from scratch. The report had claimed that the Galaxy S6 could come with metal body, the leaked image adds weight to the claims. The photo also show us a fluorescent colored body panel, suggesting that the company will be using color schemes seen on the iPhone 5C and the Lumia range of devices.
The photo also reveals that the Galaxy S6 will feature a 5.5-inch display, reportedly with a full HD resolution. From what we have heard so far, the device will be powered by a Snapdragon 810 chipset or an Exynos 7 Octa chipset, depending upon the market. Additionally, it is also expected to feature a 20-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB internal storage.
The publication again reiterates that the Galaxy S6 will have another version with a wraparound-display, similar to what we have seen on the Galaxy Note Edge.
