We’ve already come across reports that Samsung might break its tradition and launch yet another flagship, before it eventually launches the Galaxy Note 5 at IFA in September. Leakster @Onleaks has shared a press render of the smartphone he claims is the Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus. In terms of design, it looks like a sleeker and bigger version of the Galaxy S6 Edge, launched earlier this year. It boasts the dual-curve edged display and according to the leakster will flaunt a bigger 5.5-inch display. Furthermore, it will sport dimensions of 154.45×75.80×6.85mm, which is thinner than the Galaxy S6 Edge — 142.1×70.1x7mm. From what we have heard so far, the smartphone is also set to feature a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor, 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel selfie camera, and 32GB internal storage. As per reports, the smartphone could be launched in the ‘coming weeks’ much before the IFA event in September. Despite it being consistent with earlier rumors, something like this can be very easily Photoshopped, and we would advise you to take it with the proverbial pinch of salt. Samsung is riding high on the back of the Galaxy S6, and a recent Counterpoint report claims that it has sold over 6 million smartphones before the end of April. It also predicts the flagship sales to reach 50 million before the end of the year, setting a new record for the company in the process.
