While the buzz around the recently launched Galaxy Note 4 has barely died, the rumor mills seem to have moved on to the Galaxy S6. A few specifications that have leaked online hint at a monster device.
According to Chinese blog MyDrivers.com (via Android Headlines) the Galaxy S6 is likely to flaunt a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED 4K (3840×2160 pixels) display, which is a step up from the QHD display slowing making its way to current flagship devices. Powering a device with such a display will be a 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor, which will be paired with a massive 4GB of RAM.
In addition to these over-the-top specifications, the Galaxy S6 is also expected to boast a 20-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, and other features like a retina scanner and a fingerprint scanner. As far as design is concerned, Samsung is set to ditch the plastic materials seen on this year’s Galaxy S5, and will instead opt for a metal casing seen on the Galaxy Alpha and the Galaxy Note 4.
It is way too early to say what specifications will finally make it to the smartphone, and as with all early rumors, we ask you to take this with the proverbial pinch of salt.
