Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy Note 5, but leaks surrounding next year s flagship has already started pouring in. Just like the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge, the upcoming flagship is reported to come in two variants, reports SamMobile. While one variant is expected to come with flat screen, the other is expected to sport a dual-edge display. The reports also points to model number of SM-G930 and SM-G935 for the flat display and edge display variants, respectively. Both smartphones are confirmed to launch in Korea, China, Canada, Europe and the United States, with more regions to follow, the report states. While the Galaxy S7 family has internal codename of Project Lucky, they are reportedly referred to as Hero and Hero2.
Based on the earlier leaks, the Galaxy S7 is expected to come with a 5.7-inch QHD display, with one variant powered by Exynos 8890 chipset, whereas the other to come equipped with Snapdragon 820 SoC. Paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage, the microSD card slot is also expected to make its comeback. Also, in the camera front, it could either come with a 20-megapixel rear camera or dual-sensor setup.
While this is not officially confirmed by Samsung, we advise you to take this leak with a proverbial pinch of salt.
