Rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S8 don t seem to stop anytime sooner. Up until now, it had been rumored that Samsung would be launching the Galaxy S8 and a higher variant as well, dubbed Galaxy S8+, ditching the edge moniker. According to the new leaked live images, SamMobile reports the Galaxy S8 and S8+ will have 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch display respectively. It has been known so far that Samsung would be possibly ditching the Home button and instead place the fingerprint sensor on the rear end of the smartphone. This new image, however, shows the possibility of a soft Home button on the display. SamMobile further says that the software-based Home button will function much like the physical Home button. The software-based Home button is also said to be part of the Always On Display on the Galaxy S8 and a little pressure applied will wake up the display. More features include launching the camera app by double tapping the soft button. The source for this image is however not mentioned, so it is advised that the information should be taken with a grain of salt.
Coming to the alleged spec sheet of the Galaxy S8+, which has also been shared by serial leakster Evan Blass, the Galaxy S8+ will feature a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD display. The smartphone will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage which will be further expandable via a microSD card. Previous reports suggested 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage for the Galaxy S8+. If rumors are to be believed, both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will come with the same memory specs. For photography, the Galaxy S8+ will sport a 12-megapixel dual pixel rear camera. Up front, the smartphone will house an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The same camera functionalities have been rumored for the Galaxy S8 in previous reports.

For connectivity, the smartphone will come with 4G LTE support and will also feature an iris scanner as rumored before. The Galaxy S8+ will be secured by Samsung Knox and will also have support for Samsung Pay. New information mentioned in the spec sheet is that the Galaxy S8+ will come with wireless charging support. The charging pad will however not be bundled up with the smartphone and will be sold separately. The smartphone has so far been rumored to be powered by a 3,750mAh battery. In terms of accessories, the earphones for the Galaxy S8+ will be tuned by AKG.
As for the remaining specifications, the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ could be powered by either the in-house Exynos 8895 processor or Qualcomm s Snapdragon 835 processor. ALSO READ: Samsung Galaxy S8 spotted in new leaked live images; here s everything we know so far
