After announcing the high-end variant of the Galaxy S8+, the flagship smartphone is now available for purchase through the Samsung Shop and Flipkart. The premium variant boasts 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is priced at Rs 74,900 and available in color choices of Midnight Black, Coral Blue, and Maple Gold. While the Samsung Shop has the device listed in Midnight Blue, on Flipkart, it is currently out of stock as it was up for pre-order before.

If you want to purchase this variant of the Samsung Galaxy S8+, then there are a few offers available on Samsung Shop you may consider. There is a Rs 2,500 cashback if you make the purchase using ICICI credit cards. If you purchase it under exchange offer, you may avail up to Rs 15,000 on discount. Samsung is also bundling a wireless charger for free with the Galaxy S8+ (6GB RAM). If the hefty price tag is too much for one time, you can also consider EMI options which start at Rs 3,560 per month. It is worth noting that cashback/low cost EMI benefit is not applicable if you buy multiple units of the same product. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ were first launched in India in April and went on sale last month. With prices starting at Rs 57,900 and 64,900 respectively, only the base models of the flagship smartphones were available so far and the high-end variant has been made available for purchase. ALSO READ: Samsung Galaxy S8+ Review

The new smartphone is Samsung‘s latest bid to resurrect its market reputation following last year’s Galaxy Note 7 fiasco. For 2017, the flagship smartphone has been improved in terms of design and specifications, along with the branding change from ‘Edge’ to ‘Plus’. The Samsung Galaxy S8+ and the Galaxy S8 both house the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. However, the Indian variants are equipped with the equivalent Exynos 895 chipset.

In terms of specifications, the Galaxy S8+ features a 6.2-inch quad HD Infinity Display. Other variant of the smartphone includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There is also an option to further expand the storage via microSD card. For photography, the smartphone packs a 12-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel front camera. Keeping things ticking is a 3,500mAh battery. It runs Android Nougat out-of-the-box. There is further support for dual-SIM, wireless charging, and 4G VoLTE. RELATED: Samsung Galaxy S8 review
